I have made some good progress on the pieces for my new Abstract Collection this month. I am hoping to release this in early October.
I have loved seeing the repurposed letterforms come to life. Most of these were found at second hand stores, others were created for a previous exhibition in 2015 and I am giving them a new lease on life.
I love this intersection between my interest in letterforms, typography and calligraphy and the abstract art that just seems to be calling to me these days.
I have found the colours and patterns really soothing during this crazy, unsettled time. Enjoy the progress pics.
